I got a new sewing machine last thursday, a Juki F600. YAY! As far as I know by now, it’s great :)
To test it out, I finally managed to sew the Kelly skirt by Megan Nielsen, that I had on my list for sooooo long. I chose thin plain cotton, so it’s more a summer skirt. But for getting friends with my Juki it was perfect. Possibly it will make a nice layering piece in winter, to bring some colour in my outfit, I’ll see.
The skirt is size XS, I omitted that button thing and replaced it by an invisible zipper in the back. Test of my new invisible zipper foot: successful! To make the skirt at least a bit interesting, I stitched the hem with one of the many many decorative stitches.
