I hoped to find emerald green viscose and/or an ikat print/woven in Amsterdam…. and this is what I actually came home with:
A structured, black&white houndstooth jersey. It’s quite thick and since the print is kind of “loud” it was perfect for a mini-skirt with a very simple cut.
What you see here is a slightly curved tube of fabric. I inserted a 4 cm wide elastic in the rectangular waist piece, hem is a little bit lower in the back…. really EASY. And super easy to wear as well :) Wore it several times already and I’m very content.
Next projects won’t be that easy-peasy. I’ve queued the purse I found in the new CUT magazine, the Gérard coat from Republique du chiffon and Grainline’s Kat dress. Don’t think I could complete them all till christmas/new year. But maybe one or two;)
I'm Laura, a 25-year-old from Germany. I study physics (hence the irregularly and rarely posting), but it's about concerts, journeys and sewing/knitting here.
